Location | Lake Union Crew (LUC), 11 East Allison Street. One block west of Eastlake Avenue East and one block south of the University Bridge. Athletes leave school as a group and take the bus from 23rd Avenue East to Lake Union Crew. The bus stops at the top of the hill on Eastlake East. Experienced rowers escort novices on the bus for the first few days. Please walk down the hill facing traffic, with no more than two people abreast for safety. Some athletes carpool. No driver may take more passengers than there are seat belts.
Parking | Athletes who drive please fill the LUC parking lot completely and back into the stalls. Do not park on the street unless our lot is full. Use the key board to hang your keys when you park behind someone.
Pick Up | When picking up your athletes, please park in an empty on-street spot when you arrive. Please to not block the intersection or anyone's driveway. There is ample street parking at 6:00 pm. We want to minimize any impact on the immediate neighbors. It is important that you do not wait in your car anywhere on the street. Please park, rather than hovering in the roadway, even if you only expect to be a few minutes, and please don't honk your horn.
Parents Only | Wenesday, September 10, at 7:00 pm at Lake Union Crew. We would like to extend a hardy welcome to all new HNA Crew parents. Welcome aboard! This is an orientation for living life as an HNA Crew Parent! Learn about all three seasons of crew, meet "experienced" parents who are all delighted to have you with the team, try the ergs (really fun rowing machines) and the tank (great photo op!), have a bite to eat and enjoy a great evening. Get ready for the best sports experience your family has ever had. |
