Return to Italy
At the Seattle Tennis Club we
presented a set of videos showing photographs we took in Rome
and Venice. The presentation included Italian food, Italian

Writing in his book Italian Journey of his time
spent in Rome in 1788 Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote, "The
paintings are like friends with whom one has long been
acquainted through correspondence and now sees face to face 
for the
first time."
Henry Morton wrote in his book A Traveler in Rome
in 1957, "It is the singular charm of Rome that, turning a
corner, one comes suddenly face to face with something
beautiful and unexpected that was placed there three centuries
ago, apparently in the most casual fashion. Rome is a city of
magic around the corner."
