| IN THE SWIM of things at Ohio Univesity are two
former Detroit high
school stars - Richard Skarbo (above) and George Saldana (below).
Skarbo
is a backstroke specialist whom his coach, Fletcher Gilders, claims can
be one of the greatest swimmers ever in the Mid-America Conference.
Saldana
is a distance star. Both are freshman and did their prep swimming for
Western
