Relay Record
Coach Harry Hauck, of Patton Pool, is entering his boys'
relay team
in the Michigan AAU swimming championships at Michigan State University
Nov. 24.
The quartet, made up of John Savinsky, Pete Adams, Ron Boyd
and Jay
Osrowske, swimming in the 15-16 age-group, broke the midwest record in
the 400-yard freestyle relay at Byron High in Shaker Heights, O., last
week end. They were timed in 3:39.8.
Patton swimmers also brought home four other midwest
age-group records.
Lee Davis, 12, won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:39 and the
50-yard
freestyle in 28.1, to set new marks in her group. Carl Boyd, in the
11-12-
year class, took the 100-yard butterfly in 1:08.4 and Carol Danboise,
in
the girls' 10-and-under classification, won the 50-yard freestyle in
32.3.
