in Swim Meet
Rick Skarbo scored two firsts and swam on two winning relays
as Patton
Pool took the men's point trophy in the Toledo Festival invitational
meet
yesterday.
The Western High Public School backstroke and individual
medley champion
led in the 220-yard backstroke in 2:26.7 and the 440-yard individual
medley
in 5:27. He also was a member of the Patton 440-yard freestyle and
medley
relays. Patton outscored Northwest Aquatic Club, 42-33.
Greg Golin, of Northwest, won the 11-12 220-yard freestyle
and the 220-yard
individual medley, John Szuba taking the 10-and-under 55-yard
butterfly.
Two other Northwest swimmers were first in men's events, Bob
Blanchard
winning the 220-yard breaststroke, and the 220-yard butterfly going to
Bill Jennison.
