as DIT Wins Meet

CHICAGO, Jan.31 - Jerry Hummel bettered two pool records as Detroit
Tech whipped George Williams College, 64-31, in a dual swimming meet yesterday.
The Detroit Notre Dame High graduate swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:01
and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:45. Tom Sullivan, of DIT, was clocked
in 2:28.2 in 200-yard breaststroke for another pool mark. Pete Biglin scored
a double for the winners, placing first in the 200-yard butterfly and individual
medley.
