...and to round out the contributions, I've received during the interim of delinquent issues, from Anon Y. Mous, here is one final poetic masterpiece: "Regarding an article read in a certain publication distributed to Detroit Swimmers and Swimming Enthusiasts"
or
"Don't believe everything you Read"
I went to workout one day last week;
I set off as happy could be;
'Cause I'd read it's a lot warmer this year
'Cause Brennan is heated, you see,
I left my blankets and hot water at home
And dove right into the pool.
Now I'd like to get a firm grip on the throat
Of a certain practical-joking fool
Who spread those malicious rumors around
And caused me unlimited despair.
I can't tell his name but I'm sure of this much
He's the blond editor of that paper, "Foam-Fare."

Throughout the winter the team "time listings" showed mark changes in the rankings of our swimmers. If the banquet had been held in another month, the rankings would have been completely different. But as it turned out in the final analysis these following swimmers won their respective age groups on points garnered by their best times. They each received a color photo of themselves, a gold sharks tooth on a "Tigershark colored" lanyard, and a "Westcott Award" (in honor of John Westcott a white trophy consisting of a Doric column with an eagle on top) inscribed "high point club 1965":
