My Life After Patton?
-
I'm a pharmacist, have been married for over 20 years and have 2 grown
children (boy and girl). My sister Claudia put together an Osborn team
reunion about ten years ago. I swim at the local Y on average of
2 days a week. I have a butterfly garden in the summer. A lot of my time
has been spent with my son over the years (he plays travel ice hockey).
I also like to play golf, when I have time.
Some Things I Remember:
-
Carol Danboise painting Tommy Koch with make-up (lipstick & rouge).
Jeff got upset & kicked him out of practice.
-
Going to dances at the Ceresko house.
-
Swimming underwater laps (kick only) and being white as a ghost from lack
of oxygen.
-
Never push off the bottom of the pool at the start of your next repeat.
-
Getting beat up by the Bates brothers in the Patton lobby.
-
Swimming between the Reeder women during practice.
Reflections:
-
I have always felt that Jeff Longstreth was the best coach I ever swam
for. Swimming at Patton has given me the discipline to take on life in
ways I don't think I could have without being a part of that team.
