I swam for Patton until May of 1969. After Sully coached us, Ron Alsobrook, Jeff Longstreth and Moose were the subsequent coaches. Ken Wiebeck took over after Bob and was succeeded by Mike O'Connor, I think. After swimming in Dearborn through high school, I swam for Gus Stager at Michigan. In December of '82, I moved to Melbourne, Florida. It was here I met my wife Chris. We have two children, Katie and Matt. No competitive swimming for them unless they beg for it. Baseball, football, soccer, chess...something normal. Uh, well...that stuff isn't so normal either. We'll see. Oh, Katie is almost seven and Matt is five.

• Randy Penn and I used to sneak up on the 10 mtr tower at Brennan and watch John Powser and Sue Spilski making out.
• Always had crushes on Tina, Mary Lou and Carol, too.
• Used to wonder why the Patton seniors wouldn't let us in the "tonk room" either!?!
